Fancy gilded frames for art work cost even more and many an artist struggles to find a good looking frame for a painting project without breaking the bank.
The solution to this problem is to build your own DIY picture frames from vintage plans. You can use picture frame moldings but they are actually quite expensive also, and the savings may not be that much. The other way to go is to build yourdo it yourself frames from lumberyard materials.
