Here are my vintage plans which I have accumulated over a period of nearly fifty years. I was always interested in vintage projects and do it yourself plans for use in my workshop and kept these DIY  plans (and sometimes the complete magazines) filed away for whenever I wanted to use them. The copyright on any of this material which was published before 1964 is expired and they are in the public domain.  In 1964 the copyright laws in the USA were changed and material published after this date may not be in the public domain although some of it up to the year 1978 is. To avoid any copyright problems I publish only vintage  plans, DIY material and articles which were published prior to 1964, and which I have checked with the copyright office to confirm  that they are copyright expired. I will be adding many more plans for vintage projects to this website on an ongoing basis since I have literally hundreds of them on file. Build a Long Bow                                                                           The long bow was the traditional weapon of English military archers before gunpowder came to pass. It was a powerful long range bow and was used to deadly effect by skilled archers. You can build one from this do it yourself plan which also includes plans for a flat bow.
